There are 4 types of Minor Weeds and 4 Boss Weeds to overcome, each with their own tactics that present a variety of challenges to you and your teammates!
Minor Weeds
Plagueroot
3 Hit Points
This twisted abomination of bramble erupts from the ground, its branches and roots ever-lurching forward to ensnare prey and pull them closer. While not the hardiest or deadliest of weeds, a Plagueroot can send a team into disarray by rendering them unable to fight.
Piercing Creeper
4 Hit Points
A vine-like monstrosity that flails its needle-ridden appendages, a Piercing Creeper swats away any creature that dares to approach it. While its lashes are powerful and can send adventurers hurtling backwards, its menacing grip tends to seek out the strongest amongst a group, causing them agony and crushing morale.
Shadow Fungus
5 Hit Points
An oversized mushroom of extreme toxicity, a Shadow Fungus will quietly yet quickly emerge from the undergrowth. It seems to exist only to poison the land and its inhabitants, and to spread at an alarming rate. Adventures are cautioned to keep a safe distance, lest they be exposed to these toxins that can topple even the mightiest of creatures.
Snakeweed
6 Hit Points
An unnatural amalgamation of a venomous snake and an invasive plant, a Snakeweed combines the killer instincts of a predator with the hardiness of ivy. The result is a spreading menace that senses the weak and pounces on them for the finishing blow. Worn-down adventures should keep a wide berth as they are easy prey for this unforgiving horror.
Boss Weeds
Flamesprawl
30 Hit Points
It is believed that the Flamesprawl resides deep within the Earth’s core, emerging once every several centuries to feed. Its flaming appendages reach out toward anything it can consume and drags them closer. Adventurers should keep well away from this burning menace, as nothing can withstand this intense heat.
Defeat the Flamesprawl to return him to the Earth’s core!
Lichen Kraken
40 Hit Points
A once gentle ocean giant that was infected by a malicious parasite, the Lichen Kraken has only one goal: to flood and conquer the world. Its monstrous tentacles can deal tremendous damage, but also summon mighty waves to crash against all who oppose it. Adventures need to find firm footing as they battle this foe and not succumb to the constant barrage of powerful currents.
Defeat the Lichen Kraken to force the parasite from this gentle creature!
Madcap Jester
45 Hit Points
It is believed that the Madcap Jester was once the royal harlequin who made one joke too many at the expense of the King and Queen. He was banished to the furthest reaches of the realm, and it is believed that a dark magic twisted him into a fiend determined to get his revenge and take over these lands. His enemies can expect him to turn teammates against each other, and strike them down while they are disoriented and distracted.
Defeat the Madcap Jester to remove the evil curse!
Mindspore
50 Hit Points
Many years ago, an academy stood atop a mountain which attracted the most gifted wizards across the land. In the courtyard stood a lone tree which absorbed the wisdom, and the magic, of these wizards. One day, a dark sorcerer infiltrated the academy in search of immortality. He bound his soul to that of the tree so as to live forever. However, the evil nature of the sorcerer corrupted the tree and transformed it into the Mindspore, which now wanders the land to spread despair.
Defeat the Mindspore to banish the dark sorcerer!
